We specialise in taking care of Executive Homes often providing two Maids for three or four hours per visit to look after cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing and beds made up or changed.

Family Owned BusinessAfter migrating to Australia in 2011 from England we are delighted to now call Australia home and feel settled in Adelaide
History
 Helen began trading in the UK 2004 operating as Ladybirds before transferring ownership and relocating to Australia
Since arriving Helen has established Home Support Services Australia Pty Ltd trading as Britishmaid and Ironing Angel to help people with their busy lives.
Quite simply helping clients to buy back their weekends & stay independent at home.
More recently Helen has identified a need for a housekeeping service tailored to help senior-citizen’s stay independent at home. The service can also assist participants of NDIS.
Having over 20 years industry experience Helen has an excellent understanding that tasks often need to be tailored to suit individual needs and be carried out in a kind, considerate, timely manner. Tasks can also be varied for maximum benefit .

Here are the answers to the top 10 most frequently asked questions:
*Minimum Booking 2 hours per week or fortnight Spring cleaning service available by negotiation. *Visits booked weekly in advance (Cancellation 2 business days notice required please, to avoid full fee).
*The rate is per person $58.50 per hour gst include please contsct us for NDIS terms (GST exempt) * Operating hours Mon to Fri 9am – 4pm *Cleaning materials are provided – but we are unable to carry bleach -Specific cleaning agents can be used when provided by client (we normally require the use of vacuum, mop and hot water)
*Time calculated from time of arrival to time of departure at client’s property
*Health and Safety – no heavy duty lifting and smoke free environment – 2 rungs on a ladder and inside operations only.
*Every care will be taken with client’s personal effects and although we have insurance in place – please ask to see our certificate, we are unable to accept liability for accidental breakage during general cleaning process. We do ask anything irreplaceable is highlighted to us please and not included in the cleaning.
*Payment to normally be made on a per visit basis, pre paid online or ndis plan or self managed accounts online payments
*Shopping lists can be advised by telephone for same day delivery – payment for goods on delivery please. Accompanied shopping trips by arrangement.
*Ironing average $3 -$7 per item pick up and delivery - additional fee for same day service garments returned on client supplied hangers (minimum charge is $65 inc gst )

Our Staff

South Australian Family owned & operated Our staff are employed - we do not subcontact our cleaning operatives. We offer the same person at the same time each visit for as long as you're happy No contract to sign, we always operate on a payment per visit basis. Peace of Mind Promise ~ Our Staff are Police Checked & Fully Insured (Work Cover. Business Liability Insurance to $10M)
Our valued team are fully trained and all are employed on a part time basis with wages in accordance with Fair Work Australia - They receive superanuation and have the benefit of work cover. Each staff member receives pay slip weekly and participates in PAYG. one touch payroll
Our company does not advocate staff working under the guise of self employment by offering sham contracts to workers simply because they have an ABN
